Do you know where exactly the Channel Islands are? Most people may not. They are in fact British Isles but they're right off the coast of France - just 12 miles away, and there's a few names you've probably heard of: Jersey, Guernsey, Herm and Sark. German occupation during WWII lasted 5 long years, and it's home to an underground hospital! The Channel islands have great beaches, a cool city named St Helier, a church from the 11th century, and a super cool vibe. You take a ferry across the English Channel to get there in just an hour from St Malo, France or 3 hours from England. Cheers, mate!
